TAXILA (Dunya News) -- Jamaat Islami chief Sirajul Haq called for a ban on Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) while addressing a rally on Friday, Dunya News reported.
Addressing the crowd, Sirajul Haq inquired the reason as to why so many weapons were found at Nine-Zero, the headquarters of MQM.
He also questioned Sindh government’s resolve to combat terrorism, citing strictness in Punjab under the National Action Plan. Sindh government, he said, had taken no such measures, suggesting a ban on MQM as the first step.
Commenting on the political situation in Pakistan, Sirajul Haq said that former president Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif were taking turns in ruling the country.
