Summary CNG price would be increased by at least 25 percent
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The government on Monday has decided to raise the gas tariff by at least 18 percent starting from April 1.
According to the Ministry for Petroleum, the government will raise gas tariff by at least 15 percent starting from April 1. The official notification is likely to be issued after March 22. Gas price for the commercial customers will be increased by at least 18 percent while for the fertilizer factories by at least 64 percent. Whereas, the gas price for the industries will be increased by at least 53 percent.
According to the authorities, Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) price would be increased by at least 25 percent.
