FAISALABAD (Dunya News) – The families of at least three people who allegedly were killed in a police encounter demonstrated protest on Satyana Road.
Earlier, the police claimed to have killed as many as three dacoits in an encounter. The families held the bodies on the road and demonstrated a protest against the alleged police encounters. The protesters said that the police had taken the killed people from their houses at least two days ago.
Superintendent of Police (SP) said that the inquiry would decide whether the police encounter was a staged killing or not.
However, the families have demanded Chief Minister (CM) Shahbaz Sharif to bring the alleged culprits to justice.
