ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif and Pakistan Army has been awarded with Istanbul Award for playing vital role against terrorism, Dunya News reported on Sunday.
Sacrifices of Pakistan Army were lauded during Think Tank’s forum meeting, held in Islamabad. The award was received by Chairman Senate Standing Committee on Defence Mushahid Hussain Sayed, on behalf of Army Chief.
As per details, two-day forum was arranged under the joint sponsorship of Pakistan- China Institute (PCI), the Turkish Asian Centre for Strategic Studies (TASAM), the Konrad Adenauer Stiftung (KAS) and Pakistan s Senate Committee on Defence.
