Summary A specific group of like-minded people is being targeted, says Rizvi
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) coordination committee on Wednesday has demanded the government to bring banned outfits to justice. Haider Abbas Rizvi said that a specific group of like-minded people is being targeted.
He expressed these views in a press conference in Karachi.
The coordination committee members expressed anger over the killing of Muttahida Lawyers Forum’s member Advocate Syed Ali Hasnain Bukhari. Rizvi said that a specific group of like-minded people is being targeted. He said that establishing committees to solve problems is not helpful and strict action is required against banned outfits.
The criminals belonging to banned organisations commit crimes and remain at large, he added.
He demanded the government to find out the criminals behind Advocate Bukhari’s death who used to work to get missing people back to their homes. The coordination committee termed Bukhari’s killing a conspiracy. The members demanded Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif, Interior Minister, Governor Sindh and Chief Minister (CM) Sindh to arrest the criminals who killed Bukhari.
