KARACHI (Dunya News) – “Government tries its utmost to do corruption”– Call it a Freudian slip, but Sindh Minister for Prisons Manzoor Hussain Wassan’s comment caused a stir in the Sindh assembly on Wednesday when he mistakenly uttered these words.
Speaker Sindh Assembly Agha Siraj Durrani clarified that Wassan meant otherwise and it was just a slip of tongue. The moment Siraj made it clear, someone from the benches mocked that Manzoor Wassan might have had a dream.
Opposition leader Shehryar Mehar stated that it was instead the truth that slipped out of his mouth.
Later in the afternoon, Sharjeel Memon also stammered and caused a stir durin the assembly session.
