Summary According to PMD, the rain spell is likely to continue for next two days.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Heavy rainfall accompanied by strong winds lashed across the country turning the weather colder, Dunya News reported on Monday.

Intermittent rain has continued in Islamabad, Rawalpindi and adjoining areas whereas cool breeze has also made the weather more pleasant.

According to Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) the weather system will cause heavy rain and hailstorm in upper Punjab including Rawalpindi, Islamabad, Gujranwala, Malakand, Hazara, Peshawar, Kohat, Mardan, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir during next 12 hours.

PMD recorded the temperature of some major cities including Islamabad 10 °C, Lahore 13 °C, Karachi 15 °C, Peshawar 9 °C, Quetta 2 °C, Gilgit 4 °C, Murree 0 °C and Muzaffarabad 9 °C.
