Summary Army Chief praised the courage of the troops and residents of nearby villages
SIALKOT (Dunya News) -- Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif visited the areas affected from the escalation of violence by the Indian army.
The Army Chief met with soldiers stationed at the Control Line and the residents of the nearby area. He praised the courage of the troops and residents of nearby villages.
General Raheel Sharif said on the occasion that the nation and its armed forces are united to defend the country.
He further added that the point of Indian aggression was to distract the nation from its battle against terrorism. Terrorism, he said, undermines the ongoing battle against extremism and disturbs the stability of the region.
He said that indiscriminate firing from the Indian side would be given a befitting reply and the Indian aggression on the Control Line would not go unchecked.
