Ogra proposes Rs5.59 increase in petrol price

Summary New prices of petroleum products will be applicable from March 1.

ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) – The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (Ogra) has forwarded a summary to the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Resources on Thursday, seeking raise in the prices of petroleum products, Dunya News reported.

According to sources, Ogra has recommended an increase of Rs5.59 per litre in the price of petrol, Rs12.62 per litre in the price of High Octane Blending Component (HOBC) and Rs7.62 per litre in kerosene.

Final decision on Ogra s summary will be taken on February 28 and the new prices will be implemented from March 1, 2015.
