New Delhi (Dunya News) – Indian government has sacked Deputy Inspector General of the Coast Guard BK Loshali after he confessed that the Pakistani boat was burnt on his orders, Dunya News reported on Wednesday.
According to sources, the senior officer claimed in a function video that it was in fact the Coast Guard which blew up the Pakistani boat on the night of December 31, 2014.
Loshali, who is also Chief of Staff (North West Region), further disclosed it was he who had ordered that the boat be blown up.
The DIG s statement contradicts government s claim that the suspected terrorists had set the boat on fire and blew themselves up after being chased by the Coast Guard.
