Summary Pakistan team has come under severe criticism after two consecutive defeats in World Cup.
CHRISTCHURCH (Web Desk) – Investigation report has confirmed that Chief Selector Moin Khan visited a casino in Christchurch ahead of clash with West Indies, Dunya News reported.
According to sources, the report of probe conducted by team manager Naveed Akram has been forwarded to Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Shehryar Khan.
Fans, already infuriated at Pakistan s poor start to the tournament, have reacted furiously over claims Khan was seen in a casino in the New Zealand city of Christchurch ahead of Saturday s crushing 150-run defeat to the Windies.
Earlier on Monday, PCB chairman Shehryar Khan promised action if required.
Pakistan are languishing at the bottom of Pool B after consecutive defeats, prompting cricket fans in the country to hold a mock funeral for the national team.
Pakistan next play Zimbabwe in Brisbane on Sunday.
