London (Dunya News) – Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan met his British counterpart Theresa May in London, Dunya News reported on Tuesday.
Nisar urged west to offset Islamophobia and all organized efforts to sabotage the image of Islam adding that the world must collectively respond to the interest groups that target and attempt to disgrace Islam.
Democracy and freedom of expression no way permits degrading Muslims, manipulating religious beliefs and mocking sacred personalities, he added.
He said that international unity was imperative to counter terrorism whereas propagators of Islamophobia were the biggest hurdle to international brotherhood.
Washington Summit was a great success and its resolutions must also be implemented, Nisar advised.
Theresa May said that relations with Pakistan were quite significant to Britain and all efforts would be taken to ensure bilateralism.
