HYDERABAD (Dunya News / Agencies) – Identity of another victim of Sunday night’s road accident near Nooriabad town has been confirmed today (Tuesday). Victim Muhammad Ramzan was driver of the ill-fated van.
Ten people were burnt alive and nine others sustained injured when an overloaded passenger van overturned and its gas cylinder caught fire near Jamshoro district in Sindh.
Rescuers had to cut the door and parts of the van to retrieve the bodies as the van had been completely gutted.
Nine passengers sustained injuries when they jumped out of the van.
Station house officer Hashim Brohi of Nooriabad police station said that some of the bodies were beyond recognition and only a DNA test could determine their identity.
Earlier on Monday, two victims including a woman were identified. DNA samples of seven others have been collected to confirm their identities.
