SUKKUR (Dunya news) – Sector Commander Colonel Abdul Ghaffar on Friday informed that rangers had arrested 58 suspects including 3 terrorists during action against terrorists in Interior Sindh and Balochistan. The Sector Commander stated that the raids were conducted after swift action of Operation Zarb-e-Azb and operation in Karachi. The suspects were arrested during action in Sukkur, Ghotki, Khairpur Mirs, Shikarpur and affiliated areas of Balochistan. More than 181 light and heavy armaments including explosives were also confiscated from the suspects.
Colonel Abdul Ghaffar informed of these developments during a talk with the media in Rangers Headquarters.
According to the details, the arrested include 19 high profile notorious felons and 3 terrorists belonging to banned organizations. 1 suspect has been linked to an international banned organization which wanted to establish a unit in Shikarpur.
2 Tehreek-e-Taliban terrorists were arrested in Mirpur Mathelo from a bus bound for Karachi from Peshawar who wanted to move to Dubai from Karachi.
Shahbaz Rangers further tightened their grip on terrorists after conducting these actions in Interior Sindh and Balochistan upon orders from Director General (DG) Rangers Bilal Akbar.
