Summary BNP Chief said that people raising voice for their rights are termed as terrorist by the government.
QUETTA (Dunya News) – Chief of Balochistan National Party (BNP), Sardar Akhtar Mengal has stated that Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif, like others, did not take a serious stance on the situation of Balochistan, Dunya News reported on Friday.
He spoke to the media after checking the nomination papers of Dr Jahanzaib Jamaldeni for senate elections at Balochistan Election Commission.
He reiterated that PM was on a routine visit to Balochistan as there was no significant progress during his visit regarding the restoration of peace and political stability in the province.
While criticizing the government he said that in other countries plan is made before taking any action whereas in our country the situation is rather opposite.
Democracy does not exist in Balochistan as people raising voice for their rights are termed as terrorist by the government, he added.
The BNP Chief expressed that only one member of the party is contesting for the senate elections and the party is hopeful of his success.
