ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Election Commission on Wednesday issued notice to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan in relevance to foreign funds and advised him or his lawyer to submit a response till February 23.
Akbar S Babar had filed a petition against PTI. The petitioner maintained that PTI had accumulated $2 million from United States and did not disclose them before EC thus violating Political Parties Order 2002.
EC issued notice to Imran Khan advising him or his prosecutor to submit clarification by February 23.
