KARACHI (Dunya News) – Police on Wednesday identified the suspect involved in suicide attack on Inspector Shafiq Tanoli, Dunya News reported on Wednesday.
According to sources, the suspect Bakht Zain was the resident of Salar Zai area of Bajaur and belonged to the banned outfit Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP).
On the other hand, at least two people were killed by firing in Hydri area of Karachi.
According to sources, unknown bikers opened fire claiming the lives of two people. The dead bodies, identified as Nawaz and Muhammad Kareem, has been shifted to the hospital.
Police have claimed that they have arrested one target killer named Hashim whereas according to Superintendant Gulberg Police, the other suspect escaped from the scene.
Police have also confiscated TTpistol and motorcycle from the possession of the target killers.
Meanwhile, police also arrested at least five suspects from the areas of PIB Colony, North Karachi, Qasba Colony and Lyari.
According to Rangers’ Spokesperson, the suspects were involved in terrorism, target killing and gang war.
The police also took as many as two injured extortionists into custody after shootout.
According to Senior Superintendant Police (SSP) Karachi, the suspects, identified as Raheem and Sikander, belonged to gang war group.
