Former law minister of Punjab Rana Sanaullah on Tuesday got aggressive with the host of ‘On the Front’ show Kamran Shahid during a live transmission of the program. He accused the host of the show of being agent of the foreign intelligence agencies and powers. Sanaullah implicated the media of conspiring against the government. The former minister for law was fuming when Shahid produced a report from sources and questioned him on it. The report suggested that Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Shareef had asked Prime Minister of Pakistan Nawaz Sharif to depoliticize the police and make improvements in that department. Sanaullah strongly rejected the report and got into an argument with the host which escalated quickly. It led to hurling of accusations towards the host. He started pointing accusing fingers at the host of the show.

According to the details, Rana Sanaullah constantly asked the host to inform him about the source of Army Chief’s statement. The argument then drifted towards allegations from Sanaullah accusing the media of conspiring against the government. He stated that no statement was given by the Corps Commander of Karachi. He also accused the host of disrupting the unity shown by politicians and the nation against terrorism.

Shahid then questioned the responsibilities of the former Law Minister. He questioned Sanaullah on the Model Town incident at which Sanaullah got aggressive. Sanaullah called the whole report and questioning by the host as propaganda. He even went further and accused that the report was fake.
