Summary Cases were registered on the basis of sections for spreading religious hatred.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya news) – A case was registered on Monday against the head and workers of Ahle Sunnat Wal Jamaat on serious provisions. The case been registered in 2 separate police stations of Islamabad against the leader Maulana Ahmed Ludhianwi along with more than 200 of his partners. The case registered in Secretariat police station included the head and many of the other leaders of the organization. On the other hand cases against more than 200 of the workers of the organization have been registered in the police station of Aabpara. The cases were registered on the basis of sections for spreading religious hatred, intervening in government activities and violating Amplifier Act.


According to the details, the organization had previously the other day protested against the killing of its leader Maulana Mazhar Siddiqui outside the Supreme Court. Siddiqui was shot to death by unknown armed men in Rawalpindi.
