LAHORE (Dunya news) – Pakistan Ulema Council (PUC) on Wednesday issued 10 codes of conduct that are to be observed by all religious schools and mosques. According to this declaration, religious school administarots will keep complete views and records of their students. A record of the views of teachers and employees will also be kept. The guidlines state that no foreign student shall be admitted without their legal documents.
According to the details, the declaration states that the Government of Pakistan will view refugee card issued by it as a legal document in case of Afghan students and teachers. The codes of conduct also call for assurance of security of the institution. The instruction given state that a complete investigation shall have to be performed for any guests visiting the religious school.
The set guidelines state that no illegal armaments of any kind should be kept in the school or in the mosque. The legal ammunition issued for security should be kept under observation of the administration. The administration of the religious school should also be in contact with local government’s administration so that no misunderstandings are born.
The guidelines issued also state that the Ulema Council should assure the implementation of law against unnecessary use of loud speakers. The rules also declare that loud speakers should only be used for the Arabic sermon on Friday prayers and for the daily prayers.
