LAHORE (Dunya News) – Federal Minister of Water and Power Khawaja Asif on Tuesday vowed to deal with the continuous energy crisis till the next elections as the lower petroleum prices has provided relief to the nation.
While talking to the participants of the ceremony arranged to observe the foundation day of Wapda in Lahore, Federal Minister assured to overcome the energy crisis within three years and vowed to eradicate the issue before the next elections.
Khawaja Asif urged the nation to play their roles in saving the electric power and stated that the government is not reducing the price of electricity due to already reduced oil prices.
“Government is in continuous effort to produce electricity using coal and gas in coming four years”, he revealed.
Furthermore, Federal Minister stated that Indian government is violating the Sindh Water Treaty whereas government is enthusiastic in raising the issue at various forums.
