Summary Dunya TV obtained the list of victims who couldn't get the compensation, victims still visiting SHC
KARACHI: (Dunya News) – 127 victims of the Baldia Town incident are still waiting to receive their compensation, according to the report presented before the high court by Court Observer on Friday
Committee formed under the headship of Court Observer is paying 1.8 million rupees to the relatives of the deceased who lost their lives in Baldia Town incident yet there are 127 victims still who haven’t got any compensation as yet.
According to the report submitted by the observer on February 6, the committee has paid the compensation to 622 victims while 128 still awaited the compensation. After hearing of the case, one more victim was given the cheque.
The victims said that the procedure of getting the compensation was quite complicated due to which they were still making visits to the Sindh High Court.
