Summary Women and children constitute the majority of the affected people
TANDO JAM (Dunya News) – At least 100 people on Monday consumed poisonous food in a marriage ceremony and later were admitted in the Civil Hospital.
According to the details, the people were invited for the walima ceremony where they ate poisonous food and later were reported to be vomiting after the ceremony was over. Women and children constitute the majority of the affected people.
Later, the people were shifted to the Civil Hospital for treatment.
The children who are reported to be in serious condition are Rehan javed, Iqraul Haq, Zaheer, Kamran, Aslam Rajput, Muhammad Shaheen and Maria.
