LAHORE (Dunya News) – Lahore High Court (LHC) on Monday acquitted the suspect involved in double murders by declaring his death penalty as null and void.

Two-member bench of LHC heard the case in which suspect Riaz argued that the trial court announced the decision of death penalty for the murders of Asghar and Muhammad Ali whereas the court decision is converse with the real facts.

The government lawyer urged the court to uphold the trial court’s decision however, the court negated the death penalty of Riaz by listening to the witnesses.
