DERA ISMAIL KHAN (Dunya News) – Students in Dera Ismail Khan has demanded to further improve the security measurements of schools and colleges, Dunya News reported on Saturday.
Educational institutions in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) were directed to beef up their security arrangements after the Peshawar attack and were not allowed to open unless the assurance of complete security however, despite the orders of the government no substantial change appeared in the security of Gomal University city campus.
According to the sources, the height of the external wall is five-foot and branches of trees have been placed instead of barbed wires. Further, no CCTV camera has been installed in the campus and no security guard has been deployed at the entrance and exit points of the university.
However, the students are hopeful regarding the bright future of the country but some educational institutions are not honestly working to provide them a secure future.
