QUETTA (Dunya News) – Five NTTC Towers, blown up in Balochistan by unidentified miscreants yesterday, have not yet been completely repaired; various areas of the province, therefore, have been facing power outage spanning 18 to 20 hours.
Supply of electricity in the province has dropped to only 360 MW. Twenty-five affected areas including Chaghi, Harnai, Loralai and Surab have been facing long durations of load shedding.
Two of the towers, Guddu Sibi Direct Circuit 220 KV and Uch Sibi 1200 KV, have been repaired whereas two towers would be repaired by today that would increase the power supply by 500 MW.
