KARACHI (Web Desk) – Anti-polio campaign could not take place in sensitive areas of Karachi on third day today (Thursday) due to shutter down strike announced by the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM), Dunya News reported.
The vaccination campaign was called off due to security reasons whereas health workers administered polio drops to children below age of five in Bin Qasim Town after they were provided security.
MQM had appealed for shutter down and protests across the province against party worker Sohail Ahmed’s killing.
