Summary MQM Rabita Committee urged CJP to take suo moto action on this issue.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Chief of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) Altaf Hussain on Thursday blamed Chief Minister of Sindh for the extra-judicial killings of at least 36 MQM’s workers, Dunya News reported.
MQM Chief stated that MQM activists are being targeted in the name of Karachi operation and that the MQM leadership would always raise their voices against the violence in a peaceful way.
He expressed his grief over the extra-judicial killing of Society Sector Incharge Sohail Ahmed and claimed that dozens of workers are still missing.
Altaf Hussain denounced the performance of Sindh government as no action has been taken to arrest the culprits involved in the murders of 36 members including Sohail Ahmed.
“Qaim Ali Shah was busy in terming the mourners as attackers when the corpse of Sohail Ahmed was found”, he added.
MQM Chief further complained that CM Sindh and provincial ministers did not even bother to condole the deaths of MQM workers and vowed to raise their voices peacefully to record protest against violence.
On the other hand, Rabita Committee of MQM urged Chief Justice of Pakistan (SJP) to take suo moto notice on Sohail Ahmed murder case.
