LAHORE (Dunya news/WebDesk) – The protest against publication of blasphemous caricatures in the French satirical weekly magazine Charlie Hebdo continues in the Muslim community. The organization Sirat-e-Mustaqeem rallied in Lahore, All Pakistan Clerks Association (APCA) protested on the Mall road while students protested in Sahiwal.


According to the details, the Islamic organization Sirat-e-Mustaqeem organized a rally from Data Darbar to the Punjab Assembly. The participants professed their love and devotion for the beloved Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him) and said they were ready to sacrifice their lives for the Prophet’s (Peace Be Upon Him) respect. They also called the publication of the blasphemous caricatures as intolerable and shouted slogans against it.


APCA organized a rally on the Mall road. The flow of traffic was disturbed by it. APCA also organized protest by blocking Jhung road in Faisalabad.
Students of various schools and colleges also protested against the blasphemous caricatures by organizing a rally. They shouted slogans against the magazine and against the publication.


Black day was observed in Azad Kashmir by government employees. Rallies were organized and protests were carried out.
