LONDON (Dunya News) – Bahria Town chairman Malik Riaz on Sunday said that this is the era of new technology and that there’s a need to change policies in order to bring development to the country, Dunya News reported.
Addressing the press in London, Riaz said that the foundation stone of Altaf Hussain University will be laid in Hyderabad on Friday after which the construction of the university will begin.
He said Bahria Town will not start another project until the one in Karachi is completed.
He said the project in Karachi has created 45000 new jobs, adding that the private sector can create 21 lakh new jobs if the government supports.
He said the government must provide relief to the business community instead of creating hurdles, adding that if CDA was managed by his company, then it would have given budget for the development of the whole country and if LDA was management by his company then they would have managed the budget for the whole Punjab province.
Malik Riaz said Pakistan is full of natural resources and that it can be transformed into developed countries like the ones in Europe because “everything is possible in the world”.
He offered to treat the wounded children of Peshawar school attack in London.
