Summary We would have gone back to assemblies if commission was made but it’s not likely now: Imran Khan
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) -- Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has reached back to Pakistan after Umrah. Imran Khan addressed a press conference at his residence in Bani Gala where he said that PTI will go back to assemblies only if the Judicial Commission declares that the election 2013 was not rigged.
“We will put our and PML-N’s drafts in front of public to compare. If the government has not rigged the election then what are they afraid of? If we agree to PML-N’s draft then there will be no real accountability”, he said.
Khan further added that a big election fraud has been disclosed in NA 122 after one and a half year. He said that Returning Officers (ROs) were behind all the rigging and they were being controlled by Chief Justice Iftikhar Chaudhary and Justice Ramdey and that he will prove it in front of the Judicial Commission. He claimed that Iftikhar Chaudhary also addressed the appointed ROs before election. He said that Aitzaz Ahsan and Asif Zardari have also spoken about the role of ROs in alleged rigging.
“Additional Chief Secretaries of Punjab printed thousands of ballet papers in last three days and we have its proof that is why PML-N is afraid of Judicial Commission”, said Imran Khan.
He said that if someone blames them for rigging in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, they will open each and every constituency because, he said, they are not afraid like government. He further said that had the Judicial Commission made a decision, they would have gone to assemblies but now they don’t have any intension to do so.
“We will take part only in Senate election in KP. We are giving last warning to the government to make judicial commission otherwise we have the street power and we can put the country to halt”, said Khan.
