Summary The SC and the LHC have already given verdicts in favour of JuD, says spokesperson
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Jamaatud Dawa (JuD) spokesperson on Thursday has said that there are no travel restrictions on the members of the party and that their bank accounts are also functioning. The Foreign Office (FO) gave statement under United States (US) pressure.
The statement was issued in response to FO spokesperson Tasneem Aslam’s statement.
Earlier, Aslam said that the bank account of JuD has been frozen. However, the party spokesperson said that the FO has given such statements to make amends with India under US pressure. He said that JuD would continue its relief and welfare activities.
He said that the Supreme Court (SC) and the Lahore High Court (LHC) have given their verdicts which clearly state that there is no restriction of any kind on Jamaatud Dawa in Pakistan.
