India's decision not to engage in dialogue is unfortunate: Sartaj Aziz

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Advisor to Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz on Wednesday alleged that India wants to divert Pakistan Army’s focus from Operation Zarb-e-Azb through unprovoked firing at Line of Control, adding that India’s decision not to hold dialogue with Pakistan is unfortunate.

Addressing a seminar, Aziz said that South Asia is going through economic changes and that peace in the region is not possible without better relations with India and Afghanistan.

He said that the unprovoked firing at the LoC proves that India has dangerous aims.

Sartaj Aziz maintained that Pakistan’s policy on Kashmir has not changed.

He said it is up to India to decide to resume the dialogue. Aziz further said that a peaceful Pakistan is crucial for Pakistan’s benefit.

He said Pakistan and Afghanistan will work together against terrorism.
