FAISALABAD (Dunya News) – A class-8 student on Thursday received a body disability due to severe police torture in Sadar Police Station. The police dropped the student outside a hospital to cover the crime.
According to the details, the police took Muhammad Abdullah in custody on the basis of suspicion and tortured the youth for as many as two days to make him accept the crime. The class-8 student was left unattended outside the Civil Hospital after the torture.
The family of the student took him to a private hospital where doctors told that the lower portion of the body has stopped functioning and referred Abdullah to the Allied Hospital. The staff at the Allied Hospital told the family of Abdullah that this is a police case and they need to come through the proper channel for this medical case.
According to Abdullah, he was unconscious for at least two days due to severe torture. The family demanded justice.
