Summary IG KP commends courage of students, staff adding that we would have to fight terrorism collectively.

PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – Inspector General (IG) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Nasir Durrani on Wednesday visited various schools in the province and reviewed the security arrangements at the institutions.

Visiting a school at GT Road he commended the students and staff for their bravery adding that we would have to fight terrorism collectively.

War against terror is our own battle, he added.

He further said security arrangements at schools were satisfactory whereas a few schools had not yet completely built their walls.

IG KP said administration should have put up banners and barricades.

He advised the students to keep an eye on suspicious activities and inform on the numbers provided.

Nasir Durrani later visited Frontier Girls College to review security arrangements and announced to train students in NCC and usage of weapons.

Earlier, KP government permitted teachers to keep weapons for protection.
