Summary MET Department has predicted very cold weather in Upper areas of Pakistan till Friday.
LAHORE/GUJRANWALA (Dunya News) – Intermittent drizzling in various cities including Lahore has overcome the prolonged dry spell on Wednesday whereas snowfall in mountain areas has turned weather very cold.
The first rain of this winter has made the citizens happy as they were waiting for the rain for months.
As per details, rain lashed in other areas including Texla, Sargodha, Gujrat, Multan and Bhawalpur whereas 23 mm rain in Dir, Chitral 19mm, 4mm in Faisalabad and about 2mm rain has been recorded in Sialkot.
Pakistan Meteorological Department (MED) has forecasted further rains with cold winds in Islamabad, Upper and Central Punjab, Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), Gilgit Baltistan, Kashmir, Malakand, Hazara Division, Lahore and Sahiwal whereas snowfall in Murree, Galyat and Parachinar has also been expected.
Moreover, MET Department has predicted very cold weather in Upper areas of Pakistan till Friday.
