PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Parvez Khattak on Monday visited the schools of Peshawar to ensure the security arrangements in metropolis.

CM KP went to the Cantt School and City School to ensure the security arrangements and also visited the classes.

CM KP went to the Cantt number 1 school and City Number 2 School located at G.T. Road.

While talking to the media, the CM stated that there is no shortage of funds, the government will provide the security to all the schools; however, security expenditures will be accomplished from the Parent Teacher Council (PTC’s) funds.

He expressed that the morale of students and teachers is high and that the government has improvised the security measurements so that the children along with teaching staff can get mental relief.

He further added that the private schools instead of burdening the parents should undergo security arrangement themselves.

Pervez Khattak clarified that Imran Khan along with other provincial ministers decided to visit the Army Public School but postponed it due to the visit of Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif.
