Summary Target of vaccinating more than 400,000 children could not be achieved.
QUETTA (Dunya News) – Four-day anti polio campaign has concluded in Quetta on Friday.
During the campaign 461,000 children less than five years were to be vaccinated for which 67 teams were formed, however, the target could not be achieved due to vacations and absence of families in their homes.
According to sources, polio drops were administered to 361,500 children whereas a large number of children were left unvaccinated.
One case of polio has been registered in Chaghi area of Balochistan this year till now.
