ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) - Dense foggy conditions over the plains of Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and upper Sindh are expected to reduce during next two to three days while foggy conditions are expected on M2 (Lahore to Pindi Bhattian sector) during night and morning hours, the Pakistan Meteorological Department reported on Friday.
Mainly cold and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country, however, cloudy weather conditions with light rain (light snow over the hills) is expected at isolated places in Malakand division and Gilgit-Baltistan.
Temperature of major cities including Islamabad was recorded at 2°C, Lahore 7°C, Karachi 17°C, Peshawar 4°C, Quetta -3°C, Gilgit -4°C and Muzaffarabad 3°C.
Coldest places recorded during last 24 hours include Skardu -12°C, Astore -8°C, Gupis, Parachniar, Hunza -6°C, Dir, Quetta, Gilgit -5°C, Kalam -4°C, Lower Dir, Kalat, Malamjabba -3°C, Zhob, Risalpur -2°C, Chitral, Mirkhani, Bunji, Drosh and Dalbandin -1°C
