Summary The government would utilise maximum resources in the war against terror, says Nawaz Sharif
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif on Thursday has said that nobody could remain detached from the war against terrorism and that the government would utilise maximum resources in the war against terror.
He expressed these views in a high-level meeting regarding the national stability in Islamabad which was attended by the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) and Inter Services Intelligence (ISI) Director General (DG).
The meeting reviewed the implementation process on the National Action Plan. While addressing the participants of the meeting, the PM said that the country’s political leadership has united for the cause and the blood of the Peshawar attack martyrs and the soldiers of the Pakistan Army would not go in vain.
He said that their war is against hatred, fear and terrorism and that nobody could remain detached from it anymore. He also said that the right measures at the right time would bring them closer to success.
The COAS informed the meeting about the decisions taken in the Corps Commanders Conference. While PM Nawaz said that the implementation of the National Action Plan is the government’s priority that is why meeting are being held one after the other. The people of the country would be given full protection, he added.
The PM said that they would not just end terrorism but also stop its way in for future. They would support the Pakistan Army and the law enforcement agencies to make the future years safe for the children and the people of the country, he added.
The PM said that they would fight terrorism through every way including, diplomatic efforts, enactment of law, usage of the Pakistan Army force and intelligence.
