LAHORE (Dunya News) – Lahore Electricity Supply Company (LESCO) Sub Divisional Officer (SDO) Ray Zayad on Friday was shot dead by unidentified motorcyclists on the Scheme Morr.
According to the police, two unidentified men opened fire on Zayad after he was returning home from his duty from Ittehad Colony Sub-Division from which he sustained serious injuries and was rushed to the Shiekh Zaid Hospital by the Rescue Team where he succumbed to wounds.
The police first refused to register a case identifying an issue with the limits of the police stations whereas the case was registered later after the involvement of the Capital City Police Officer (CCPO).
Two months earlier, another LESCO SDO Asadullah was attacked upon and he had sustained serious injuries.
