HANGU, ABBOTABAD (Dunya News) – As many as 17 people have died in road accidents due to dense fog in different areas of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) and dozens have been injured.
According to the details, at least eight passengers including, three women died as a coach turns upside down in Saramela area of Hangu. While in Abbotabad, a bus was lead into a ditch on the Lora Road due to the fog resultantly, as many as five passengers died and eight sustained injuries.

Separately, as many as two motorcyclists crashed into each other and died on the spot. While at least 20 passengers of a bus were injured as the bus turns turtle on the Zafarwal Darman Road and they were immediately transported to a local hospital. The bus was enroute to Gujranwala from Lessar Kalan.

As many as seven people sustained injuries including, three women in a collision between a truck and a bus on the Nawan Kot Bhakar Road at least 40 kilometres (Kms) away from Jhang. At least six people died on Chiniot Faisalabad Road while two accidents in Pindi Bhattian claim a life and injuring at least three people.

Moreover, a motorcyclist died in a crash with a truck on Hafizabad Road in Kot Mubarak area. As many as 20 people were injured as a bus drove into a ditch due to dense fog in the Bagowal area of Gujrat. The injured were shifted to the Jalal Pur Jattan Hospital.
