LAHORE (Dunya News) – At least two children sustained injuries in a blast that took place today (Tuesday) due to the gas that produced in a lime pile at vacant plot in Harbanspura, Lahore.
According to the sources, children were playing in the plot when the explosion took place. The blast intensity was felt by several people due to which residents came out of their house.
Rescue teams and police reached the scene at once and besieged the entire area.
Initial report has revealed that the gas which was produced in the pile of lime caused the explosion.
According to the police, the area has been declared clear by the Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS).
Moreover, the injured children have been reported to be out of danger.
