KARACHI (Dunya News)—Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain in a telephone conversation to Senator Rehman Malik on Wednesday said that the terrorist attack on school children in Peshawar has united the entire nation. Expressing grief over the attack, he said that it is about time that the country is completely freed from the threat of terrorism. He appealed to the political parties in Pakistan to unite in the fight against terrorism.
MQM’s chief expressed his deepest condolences over the Peshawar attack saying that the whole country would fight together to bring the innocent martyrs to justice.
He remarked that not only are people deeply grieved over the attack in Peshawar but those who had doubts regarding military operation are also raising their voice against the terrorists. All political and religious parties should overlook their disagreements to demonstrate unity against the terrorists.
He prayed that may God unite the whole nation and free the country from terrorism.
Rehman Malik said on this occasion that those who target children are the biggest enemies of humanity.
