LAHORE (Dunya News)—Imran Khan speaking to media in Lahore on Monday said that the strike in Lahore would be peaceful as long as Pakistan Muslim League- Nawaz (PML-N) keeps its gullu butts away. He apologized to the people of Lahore for the inconveniences they might be facing because of the wheel jam strike. He said he would also want to inform Lahore that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) is protesting in the streets for last four months, demanding investigation against the rigging in the elections but no action has been taken against it.

Imran Khan said that his party wasn’t left with a second choice but to take to the streets. He told the media that the Election Tribunal has confirmed rigging in the four constituencies but the government had been reluctant in investigating the rigging allegations.

He said that he expects the strike in Lahore to be peaceful. All the party members and supporters have been ordered to remain peaceful and to not indulge in any violence against the common people.

He requested media to send videos and photographs of people giving in to violence holding PTI flags so that they can be verified and required action can be taken against them. Talking about the government, Imran said that he assures the crowd will remain peaceful until and unless PML-N doesnt try to provoke.
