KARACHI (Dunya News) – A day celebrating Sindhi civilization was observed in Karachi by Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) on Sunday, Dunya News reported.

According to the details, the cultural event took place at Lal Qila ground in Karachi. MQM workers including women enthusiastically participated in the celebrations.

The participants were wearing Sindhi cultural Ajrak shawl and caps and danced on the tunes of Sindhi songs.

Talking on the occasion, MQM Raabta Committee’s Deputy Convener Dr Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui said that Sindh can become an exemplary province for the whole world if its resources are duly distributed among its residents.

He said if MQM is given Sindh’s government then such a system of justice will be established in which the parameter of justice will remain the same and only faces will change.

MQM leaders said that Sindhi culture day is a day not just to celebrate Sindhi culture but it is also, he said, an occasion to renew determination to protect Sindhi land.
