Summary The vacancy was closed when one of the candidates brought a lawsuit against alleged irregularities

LAHORE (Daily Dunya) – A candidate has filed a petition against the alleged irregularities in appointment of staff made by the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA). Our correspondent learned that the said positions were eliminated just to cover up the irregularities when exposed.

As per the documents received by Daily Dunya, CAA had advertised in newspapers vacancies on four positions of PG 7 Grade Assistant HR. As many as 19 candidates including CAA employees submitted the applications.

CAA delayed the entry test for 4 months in intervals allegedly because a candidate Noreen Suleman did not have required diploma. The CAA allegedly made arrangements for said candidate’s diploma and hired her on one of the vacancies.

Following a suit by another candidate, CAA demoted Noreen Suleman on her previous seat in CAA and advertised retraction of the open vacancy.

Our correspondent contacted Deputy Airport Manager Akhtar Mirza but he expressed lack of knowledge on the matter.
