LAHORE (Dunya News) – Young Doctor’s Association (YDA) in Lahore protested outside General Hospital on Wednesday blocking the Ferozpur Road. The traffic jam as a result of the protest caused severe difficulties to the residents.
According to the protesting doctors, yesterday a patient who was resident of Faislabad succumbed to death on his way back home and the Punjab government formed an inquiry committee which terminated two doctors, MS and DMS.
The doctors protested against the decision taken by the inquiry committee saying that they do not accept it since their report is not based on facts.
The doctors argued that if their demands are not met they would protest all across Punjab.
