ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Former interior minister Rehman Malik on Friday has said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) is ready for negotiations and that the Prime Minister (PM) should send a team for the representation of the government without any delay.
He expressed these views while talking to Dunya News after his meeting with secretary general of PTI Jahangir Khan Tareen.
He said that Tareen told him that PTI has withdrawn its demands regarding the resignations of the PM and other officials.
Tareen said that they are ready to negotiate with the government and that the government must announce the formation of an investigation commission.
Malik said that he would meet Tareen again tomorrow and the PM has also been requested once again to schedule a meeting.
He said that they do not have a mandate to pose an order and they want to serve the people according to their mandate.
He was confident that they would be able to further the situation positively after November 30.
