Summary At least 803 criminals have been arrested since the past month, says South Zone DIG
KARACHI (Dunya News) – The South Zone Police on Friday, acting on a tip-off, have arrested as many as ten criminals, including gang war members.
According to details, the police have seized weaponry from the possession of the criminals.
South Zone Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Abdul Khaliq Sheikh said that the operation against the criminals would continue until they put an end to violence and crime.
He also said that around 25 different weapons have been seized from their possession including Light Machine Gun (LMG), Submachine Gun (SMG) and grenades.
DIG Shiekh said that the South Zone Police have arrested at least 803 criminals since the past month and that around 160 weapons of different kinds have been seized.
He said that the operation would continue until all the criminals in the area are arrested.
